Intelligent Vehicle Expo North America (previously ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo) is fast approaching, with the show returning to Novi, Michigan, on October 27-29, 2026. Now integrated into the newly launched Vehicle Tech Week North America, the event remains the region’s leading gathering for engineers, program leaders and decision-makers working across ADAS, autonomous systems, AI, sensing, perception and vehicle software platforms.
More than 250 solution providers are expected on the show floor, with exhibits spanning vehicle testing and validation, ADAS and autonomous vehicle development, NVH measurement and analysis, emissions and powertrain testing, simulation and virtual development tools, and data acquisition and test automation. As part of Vehicle Tech Week North America, visitors also gain access to two additional events – Automotive Testing Expo and Automotive Design & In-Cabin Expo – broadening the range of opportunities for cross-disciplinary conversations across the vehicle development lifecycle.
The Intelligent Vehicle Conference
The free-to-attend three-day technical conference will bring together automotive experts to explore the technologies shaping the next generation of vehicles. With a strong focus on software-defined vehicles, the program will cover SDV architecture, AI, cloud and edge computing, cybersecurity, hardware/software integration and advanced automated driving systems.
Key presentations at the conference include ‘Building production-ready SDVs: from virtual validation to continuous software delivery,’ in which Steve Surhigh, vice president and general manager of cloud services at Harman International, will examine how OEMs can industrialize software development, validation and deployment as software-defined vehicles become increasingly widespread. He will discuss the role of digital twins, virtual and physical testing, software configuration and deployment workflows in creating production-ready SDVs, as well as how pre-configured software products can help simplify integration and support continuous software updates.
Also on the program is ‘OTA updates: rewriting the rules of electrical reliability’ presented by Shrikant Pawar, field reliability engineer for low-voltage systems at Tesla. The session will explore how OTA updates are changing the traditional recall-driven approach to electrical reliability, including how software can potentially address faults originating in low-voltage electronics and ECUs. Shrikant will also look at the challenges involved in validating software fixes and determining whether a fault can be safely addressed without physical intervention.

On the show floor
With more than 100 technology solutions covering ADAS and autonomous vehicle development, Intelligent Vehicle Expo will bring together technologies spanning sensors, software, AI, simulation, validation, testing and vehicle connectivity.
Positioning will be a key theme this year. OXTS (Booth T1132) will showcase its WayFinder Hub, which combines OXTS INS systems with lidar point clouds to maintain accurate vehicle positioning when GNSS signals are unavailable or degraded. The system is designed to support open-road ADAS and autonomous vehicle testing in challenging environments, including tunnels, urban areas and under tree cover.
Dewesoft (Booth T1510) will demonstrate its Obsidian datalogger, analysis and validation solutions for ADAS testing. The system can synchronously capture thousands of channels across analog, digital, CAN FD, ethernet and other vehicle networks, alongside GPS/IMU data, allowing engineers to compare vehicle performance against reference data.
Vehicle Tech Week North America
This year’s expo marks the debut of Vehicle Tech Week North America, which brings three specialist conferences under one roof: The Future of Automotive Testing Conference, Intelligent Vehicle Conference and Automotive Design & In-Cabin Conference. Attendees can attend sessions in their discipline while also dipping into adjacent industry topics.
