EXPO NEWS | Day 2: aiMotive continues to push the boundaries of ADAS/AD technology

A regular at ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, this year aiMotive is in Stuttgart following its recent (December 2022) acquisition by Stellantis, which has opted to use aiDrive, aiMotive’s embedded software stack, to supercharge the development of its all-new STLA AutoDrive platform.

Despite its acquisition, aiMotive continues to offer three key products to the market: aiData (artificial intelligence operations and data tooling), aiSim (software simulation for the development of autonomous driving) and aiWare (expertise and intellectual property for silicon microchips).

“The acquisition was a dream scenario because Stellantis wants us to remain independent in many ways, and we get all the benefits that come with being part of a company the size of Stellantis with all of its resources,” explained Bence Boda (pictured above), marketing and communications manager, aiMotive. “Our full-stack software, aiDrive, is now exclusive to Stellantis. However, we’re getting outstanding interest and traction from our other technologies. We are happy that the market recognizes the value that we bring with such tooling and IP.”
