AVSimulation’s new AI simulation assistant delivers fast, simple scenario description
AVSimulation is showcasing RAY, an AI-powered simulation assistant built into the SCANeR platform that enables engineers to describe a test scenario in plain language and receive a ready-to-run scenario file in seconds, eliminating manual scripting. Visitors to the booth can also experience SimFLEX, a compact driving simulator demonstrating SCANeR’s high-fidelity validation capabilities, from photorealistic environments to physics-based vehicle dynamics. The team is engaging with attendees on how they balance simulation fidelity with scalability, and where AI tools can accelerate development. “There’s no better way to understand the value of simulation than experiencing it yourself,” said the company’s Thomas Nguyen,
noting that SimFLEX and RAY demonstrate how simulation and AI are transforming scenario creation and validation workflows.

ASIL-B-compliant thermal infrared camera from Teledyne delivers reliable perception
Teledyne FLIR OEM is showcasing Tura, an ASIL-B-compliant thermal infrared camera developed to ISO 26262 standards. Designed for PAEB, ADAS and autonomous vehicle safety, it enables reliable perception in darkness and challenging conditions such as fog, smoke and glare. “Featuring a 640×512 far-infrared sensor, Tura detects pedestrians, animals and vulnerable road users beyond headlight range,” said a company spokesperson. A shutterless design and heated IP6K9K enclosure ensure all-weather, 24/7 performance. Supporting evolving safety requirements, including night-time scenarios, Tura enhances vehicle safety, while Teledyne’s wider thermal portfolio strengthens redundancy and enables more confident autonomous navigation.

Ansys demos unified, GPU-native environment for building digital twins
Ansys, now part of Synopsys, is sharing how it is advancing autonomous vehicle development with AVxcelerate 26R1 sensors, integrated with Nvidia Omniverse for physical AI workflows. This creates a unified, GPU-native environment where engineers can build sensor-aware digital twins, reconstruct driving environments and generate high-fidelity simulations. “By combining multiphysics modeling with scalable 3D data preparation, the platform improves efficiency and validation quality,” says Ilaria Sacchi, head of field marketing. “It enables testing of edge cases, optimization of sensor configurations and validation of perception systems without extensive road testing. With enhanced realism and scalability, the release accelerates development cycles and supports more reliable autonomous vehicle systems across evolving automotive applications.
