It’s now just two weeks until ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Europe, which returns to Stuttgart, Germany, on May 20, 21 & 22, 2025. The event will showcase the latest advanced mobility products, technologies and services to accelerate scalable end-to-end product development and deployment; improve quality and safety; and reduce costs.
Entry to the exhibition is free – visitors can see cutting-edge developments in AV/ADAS software and hardware, processing, testing tools, artificial intelligence and V2V/V2X, with industry experts on hand, from the big players to the startups, including Applied Intuition, AVL, aiMotive, b-plus, Wayve, Vaiva, Vector, Xylon, ZD Automotive, Idiada Automotive Technology and more. (Read the official event preview, here.)
Visitors will be able to discover and experience new technologies across the show floor – including taking a ride in a live demonstrator vehicle, courtesy of Seyond, which will be showcasing its latest lidar capabilities. Elsewhere, Adasky will demonstrate its thermal detection capabilities, and Gentex will showcase the latest applications for its intelligent mirror technology.
Attendees will also be able to see the winners of the inaugural ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle International Awards collect their trophies during a live ceremony taking place at 4:30pm on Day 2 (May 21) in Hall 9 on a special stage on the show floor. Nominees include Waymo, BMW, Kodiak, Mercedes-Benz, WeRide, Goodyear, and MAN Truck & Bus.
The conference (rates apply) will host 75+ speakers from OEMs, regulators and tech innovators, who will discuss the key issues in the development and testing of safe autonomous driving and ADAS technologies. Contributors will include Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV), Google, ASAM, IBM, Dekra, Plus, Robert Bosch, Stellantis, Waymo and Porsche Engineering. Conference sessions will cover AI, software, architecture and data; ADAS/AD and the SDV; regulations, standards, homologation and certification; safety requirements and demonstrations; validation and tooling with a L2+ L3 focus; and many other topics.
The conference will once again host an intensive ODD workshop in partnership with VWCV, and, new for 2025, there will also be an exclusive update from the GAIA-X 4 PLC-AAD project, which is building an open and distributed data ecosystem to support the product lifecycle of automated driving functions.
The show will be held alongside Automotive Testing Expo Europe, ensuring the Messe Stuttgart will be the essential location this May for those wanting to maintain their competitive edge by keeping pace with innovation, technological advances and regulatory changes in a rapidly evolving industry.
