The first speakers have been announced for the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo conference in Stuttgart, Germany, June 13, 14 and 15, 2023. The conference will feature over 80 expert speakers, who will showcase the latest building blocks and systems for a new era of L3+ ADAS and autonomous driving, including software, AI and deep learning, sensor fusion, virtual environments, verification and validation, testing and development tools, proving grounds, and the latest standards and regulations.
First speakers include Stéphane Regnier, expert leader immersive simulation, Renault, who will explain how to expand the simulation approach for AD/ADAS validation; Georg Kuschk, director of perception, Plus, who will share how to deploy autonomous driving technology with software-defined vehicles; and Christian Thiele, director, global ground vehicle standards, SAE International, who will reveal the latest SAE standards activities for advanced vehicle safety technology. There will also be a presentation (subject to be confirmed) from Stellantis‘s VP & senior expert, ADAS and autonomous driving, Vincent Abadie.
Meanwhile, Stephane Dreher, senior manager innovation & deployment CCAM, ERTICO – ITS Europe will deliver a presentation titled, Landscape and harmonisation needs of EU CCAM R&I and Testing. “This presentation will provide an overview and analysis of R&I and testing activities in Europe and its member states; and introduce first findings toward the development of a European framework for testing on public roads, regarding testing regulations and harmonization needs,” explains Dreher. “Building on the previous EU-funded Coordination and Support Actions ARCADE and CARTRE, the FAME project develops and maintains tools supporting the coordination and alignment of R&I and testing in Europe. It capitalizes on shared knowledge to improve, across the CCAM stakeholder community, the cooperation, consensus building and data sharing needed for the organization and evaluation of demonstration in EU.”
The conference (rates apply) takes place June 13-15, alongside the free-to-attend ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, in Stuttgart, Germany – the leading exhibition in Europe for advanced technologies for autonomous driving development.
