Arbe Robotics, a provider of perception radar solutions, has announced that a top global automotive OEM has selected its chipset for the development of its next-generation imaging radar aimed at serial production.
The OEM, which Arbe says is in the top 10 worldwide, has confirmed that preparations for implementing the chipset in serial production will begin immediately. This decision follows a comprehensive competitive technical evaluation process and field testing of the chipset.
Arbe says its radar technology is applicable across various vehicle classes, and that the project is slated for an accelerated market entry.

The OEM was also one of the automotive manufacturers referenced in Arbe’s recent convertible debenture offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE).
