Danlaw, an innovator in the field of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology, has revealed its acquisition of Australia-based Cohda Wireless – a supplier of connected vehicle solutions.

As part of Danlaw’s global expansion initiative, the acquisition will advance connected vehicle safety and smart city solutions, using V2X technology. The collaboration incorporates Cohda’s V2X-Locate technology and V2X communication stacks, for improved positioning accuracy and connectivity solutions for real-time communication among vehicles, infrastructure, pedestrians and other road users.

The partnership also extends its impact to smart city initiatives, advances in traffic management, congestion reduction and global urban planning. Also strengthening the global presence of both companies, the collaboration leverages Danlaw’s influence in North America and India along with Cohda’s established reach in Europe and APAC.

Raju Dandu, Danlaw’s founder and chairman, said, “This is truly exciting for the Danlaw family, as we see the combination of resources of these two great companies ushering in new levels of transportation safety and efficiency, with the potential to transform mobility across the globe for the betterment of society.”

Dr Paul Gray, Cohda’s CEO, added, “We are thrilled to join forces with Danlaw, a company that shares our global commitment and passion for innovation and safety. Together, we are poised to lead the way in V2X technology and make a lasting impact on the industry.”
