Luokung Technology subsidiary eMapgo Technologies (EMG) has been selected to provide autonomous driving HD maps for Ford China.
EMG will support Ford’s Connected Blue Zone (CBZ) autonomous driving project, the car giant’s first autonomous driving commercial project in the country.
The project will launch in 2021 and EMG will not only provide HD seed maps for the CBZ but online incremental data updates through OTA technology.
This will provide real-time mapping data and support adaptive cruise control, CBZ Blue Line retention system, and driver attention retention system among others.
