Deepen AI, a technology company specializing in data labeling and calibration, has entered into a partnership with an undisclosed tech company, reportedly well known for its global operations and technological innovation.

The specific details of the collaboration remain confidential. However, both partners report that the alliance aims to integrate Deepen AI’s technology with the partner’s expertise, offering a solution that covers various tasks involving humans-in-the-loop (HIL) and/or AI-in-the-loop (AIIL) for automotive and robotics verticals, with a focus on safety, calibration and sensor fusion.

With a decade of experience in large-scale global operations, the unnamed partner aims to externalize its solutions to help companies launch AI products. The new combined solution is tailored to meet the requirements of ADAS and AVs.

The companies report that key features of the combined solution include compliance with industry data and security standards, proven expertise in the automotive sector, efficient data labeling technology, a customizable platform, scalable access to a global workforce, and AI-assisted workflows for automation in ADAS and AV.

The partners say that they aim to replace traditional annotation methods with a blend of HITL and AIIL approaches to redefine standards for accuracy, efficiency and scalability when handling diverse annotation types for training and enhancing AI models.

The annotation types encompass audio, text, natural language processing (NLP), language localization automation, testing and verification, document annotation, multimodal evaluation, feedback, scoring and data collection.

Deepen AI’s CEO, Mohammad Musa, said, “This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our journey toward creating a safer, smarter and more efficient AI ecosystem. By combining our strengths with our partner, we aim to revolutionize AI data services across the board.”

A senior director at the unnamed organization added, “The partnership with Deepen allows us to dive quickly into the automotive space while also covering a broad range of verticals with innovative technologies and state-of-the-art operations that scale.”
