Waymo self-driving car enables cyclists to pass

Predicting the behavior of other road users is an important part of driving safely. Waymo’s cars are designed to anticipate how other vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians will behave and then adjust accordingly. In this video, a Waymo car approaches two cyclists and a vehicle blocking the bike lane. It correctly predicts that the cyclists will pass the bike lane vehicle on the left and slows down to enable them to pass.
