Qualcomm’s SVP Enrico Salvatori addresses the challenges of transitioning to autonomous driving

The Snapdragon Digital Chassis is Qualcomm’s set of cloud-connected automotive platforms for connected cars. It includes Snapdragon Ride for developing advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features and the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform for bringing connected and intelligent user experiences to connected cars.

Here, Qualcomm SVP Enrico Salvatori discusses the implementation of Snapdragon Ride, ADAS and the challenge of scaling to autonomous driving in the latest episode of the company’s The Connected Car video series. Salvatori highlights that autonomous driving will not happen overnight, and that the adoption of such a momentous technology development will require a transition period.
