Sightic has received ethical approval to collect data from up to 5,000 drivers, in what is reported to be the world’s largest naturalistic study in the field. Ethical approval ensures that every step of the process meets the highest standards of safety, quality and integrity.
The Sightic study will aim for fair representation by including a broad driver base across age, gender and background, reducing the risk of bias. Combining simulator and real-world data will reduce overfitting and ensure reliability in real traffic.
