Navya produces its 100th autonomous shuttle

Developer of AVs and smart shared mobility solutions Navya is celebrating its fourth anniversary with the completion of its 100th autonomous Autonom shuttle. It was also recently selected to supply 10 autonomous shuttles for the EU’s Horizon 2020 project.

Horizon 2020 is an EU research and innovation program with close to €80bn available between 2014 and 2020. As part of the project, the AVENUE (Autonomous Vehicles to Evolve to a New Urban Experience) consortium aims to carry out large-scale autonomous mobility trials in urban centers, deploying the 10 shuttles in Luxembourg, Lyon, Copenhagen and Geneva.

“AVENUE is a promising project that will enable new mobility to develop and become an integral part of several large European cities. Navya is proud and delighted to provide its partners with its fully autonomous and smart solutions, providing users with a new way of getting around,” commented Navya CEO Christophe Sapet.
