Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson recently took his first autonomous car ride driven by Wayve, a leading embodied AI developer for self-driving. The 25-minute autonomous ride, organized as part of the grand opening of Virgin Hotels London in Shoreditch, was hosted by Wayve co-founder and CEO Alex Kendall.
Sir Richard Branson has been an investor in Wayve through the Virgin Group since 2020, and the ride marks a symbolic moment in the ongoing collaboration between the two organizations.
