Lucid Group has begun the rollout of its latest over-the-air software update for the Lucid Gravity SUV in North America, Lucid UX 3.6, which introduces hands-free driving capabilities along with enhancements to navigation, charging experience and everyday usability.
Hands-free driving
Hands-Free Drive Assist is designed to make highway driving more comfortable and can assist with steering, acceleration and braking on compatible highways. It is available for vehicles equipped with DreamDrive 2 Pro.
Hands-Free Lane Change Assist can guide the vehicle into an adjacent lane upon a turn signal made by the driver, only when it is safe to do so; and Automatic Lane Change can also initiate passing maneuvers to overtake slower traffic during highway driving.
Smarter navigation
Lucid Navigation has integrated Google Maps Places API to provide richer, more contextual search results. Drivers can now view improved business details, ratings, photos and parking information, along with enhanced charging station listings that include more accurate real-time availability and recent imagery.
Adaptive headlights
The new Adaptive Driving Beam solution, which is available with the DreamDrive Premium and DreamDrive 2 Pro ADAS, improves night-time visibility by maintaining high beams while dynamically adjusting around other vehicles to reduce glare.
Charging and energy efficiency insights
New features such as advanced preconditioning view and predictive charging power provide greater transparency into battery temperature and expected peak charging performance before plugging in.
