FEV, Beijing LiangDao Intelligence Automotive Technology and Ibeo Automotive Systems are collaborating to offer automotive professionals access to development and testing services for Level 3 and 4 automated driving solutions and ADAS.
As a long-standing engineering partner to the vehicle industry, FEV can provide a wealth of experience in ADAS and autonomous vehicle driving development, and identifies the main challenges of this as the wide range of boundary conditions such as weather, light and traffic situations that must be handled.

One of FEV’s assignments as part of the partnership will be applying Ibeo’s lidar solutions in ADAS and autonomous driving systems. Ibeo has been developing lidars with matching software solutions for ADAS and AD functions for more than two decades and the two companies have already previously cooperated on various projects.

LiangDao is joining the alliance as a specialist in the testing and validation of lidar systems, offering data acquisition solutions and ground truth tools for vehicle fleet testing. The company will also contribute its insights on the Chinese market, which is one of the key regions where automated driving tech is being adopted.
