We are an international startup, scaling-up rapidly (300+ and growing). Our base is in Oxford, but we are hiring in multiple countries, and have hybrid and/or flexible work arrangements. The Role

Joining us as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working in our “Infrastructure” team. You will focus on the design and development of solutions for a range of products and projects.

Alongside this you will:

– Maintain and improve existing solutions with scalability and flexibility in mind.
– Work closely with other stream-aligned teams to provide expertise and support for the implementation and management of their environments.

Requirements
– A clear passion for DevOps
– Embrace modern principles – automation, collaboration, ownership.
– Strong experience with installing, configuring, and managing Linux environments.
– Strong experience with configuration management systems, such as Ansible.
– Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform
– Strong experience with cloud, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
– Experience with CI/CD systems, such as Jenkins, Travis, CircleCI.
– Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix etc.
– Strong experience with working in BASH and/or Python
– Strong written and verbal communication skills to a variety of technical and non technical audiences.

Extra kudos if you have:

– Experience with containers, such as Docker
– Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as QEMU, ESXi, Vagrant
– Site Reliability Engineering
– Container orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes.
– Experience in mentoring other DevOps team members.
