Across the autonomous vehicle industry, compression is no longer optional. Fleets produce vast volumes of real-world footage, while synthetic data from world foundation models often exceeds that volume. Datasets are growing faster than ML pipelines can absorb, creating compounding pressure on storage, data transfer, pipeline throughput and development timelines.

According to the company, the platform focuses on enabling customers to test faster, more reliably and with less operational friction.

UFOnext offers high acceleration capability, enabling it to reach the required test speeds quickly. This reduces the track length needed to achieve target velocities, enabling customers to run high-speed NCAP scenarios on shorter proving grounds.

Combined with top speeds exceeding 140km/h, the solution allows test teams to execute demanding ADAS scenarios that are essential for compliance with NCAP 2026 protocols.

Production of the company’s autonomous vehicles will begin shortly at a facility in Power Park, Coventry.

The new site measures over 12,000m2, more than three times the size of the firm’s current facility, and will serve as its UK hub for advanced engineering, autonomous vehicle development, high-volume manufacturing and ongoing automotive activities.

This expansion supports Aurrigo’s recently launched international hub and licensing program, which aims to accelerate the company’s global commercialization strategy by seeking local relationships, funding and manufacturing support in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the US.

Global auto makers are increasingly requiring suppliers to provide large-scale, data-driven validation, often involving tens of thousands of hours of testing, before approving core components for use in software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

Hyundai Mobis has established a data integration management solution that it says significantly shortens this process, enabling the company to secure a competitive edge in the global market.

The evaluation and validation system can repeatedly test electronic control units (ECUs) for SDVs and autonomous driving by linking data from actual road tests with data management solutions and simulators to replicate various driving scenarios.

The challenge is no longer simply proving that driverless technology works, but improving performance quickly and consistently to enable broader deployment, stronger unit economics and sustained technical leadership.

To address this, Pony.ai has launched PonyWorld 2.0, the latest upgrade to its proprietary world model and a major advancement in the core training system behind its autonomous driving stack. The key advancement is its ability to identify its own weaknesses and guide targeted improvements. The upgrade introduces three core capabilities: self-diagnosis, targeted data collection in areas where performance is still limited and more efficient training focused on the most challenging cases.
